Remember Episode #87, "Bobby's Hero," in which Bobby wrote a paper about his hero, train robber Jesse James? (I can't help but think of Bobby in that black cowboy hat with the mean look in his eye!)
Remember Episode #96, "Mail Order Hero," in which Bobby bragged to his friends that New York Jets quarterback Joe Namath makes frequent stops at the Brady house? My question is, since these episodes are only nine apart from one another, how come Bobby didn't write his paper about Joe Namath instead of Jesse James? I mean, "Broadway Joe" is a much better role model if you ask me. Any thoughts? |

Well You know how kids are. They have short attention spans. They idolize one person today and a couple weeks later they idolize someone else.

Joe Namath didn't want to do an episode where he shot the Bradys in the back, even if it was a dream sequence.

Jesse James fit the suit.
But seriously. I guess football season was over. His mind was off of sports and wandering, drifting to other things. Evil things. Naturally he would begin to idolize a villain. |
