I am curious how many of us have thought about why we believe what we do. It is my observation that the overwhelming majority of people that I have met in my life have put very little thought or effort into questioning the beliefs they hold as most having been handed those beliefs by their families and not though personal reflection or investigation.

Do you feel very strongly that the beliefs that you hold today are the only path to spiritual fulfillment/enlightenment?

I have my own mind..... I THANKFULLY CAN USE MY MIND AND THINK FOR MYSELF!

The environment a person grow up with will probably also influence a person beliefs and thoughts. And a person age might also play a role. As we get older and wiser thru life experience, our prioritization and beliefs might also shift

interesting question and the best answer is a lot of my original beliefs were handed down but I have been going over them and some have changed and others have remained the same

I dont think ANY of my beliefs are my parents to be honest! (Or anyone in my family)
