A I Love Lucy Income Tax Day:

(Lucy & Ethel emerge from the IRS.)

Ethel: “Boy our boys are gonna be so excited with our refunds. Especially Fred.”

Lucy: “Yes. Think of the dresses I will buy. Let’s all open up the envelopes and see the checks.”

(They open up the envelopes yet they don’t see a check. They turn them upside down and the checks fall in the sewer.)

Lucy: “Ewww. Come on Ethel, go down there.”

Ethel: “Why just me?”

Lucy: “I’m scared of the dark.”

Ethel: “So am I.”

Lucy: “Oh well. I guess our husbands anger is scarier then the dark especially when Ricky yells in Spanish. When that happens, I don’t know what he says.”

(They go down the sewers.)

Lucy: “It’s dark down here.”

(They fall into the water. Lucy grabs the checks which are dry.)

Lucy: “I got it.”

(The tide comes in and washes them away. Later on the husbands bring them home.)

Ricky: “Ok start ‘splainin’.”

Lucy: “Ok. We will start ‘splainin’. See we dropped our refunds in the sewer. Both refunds were $5,000.”

Fred: “Oh no!”

Lucy: “Fortunately I got them dry as a bone. See?”

(Lucy accidentally drops them into the lit fireplace and they turn into ashes. Everyone surrounds Lucy. Lucy runs away with the rest following suit.)
