Okay, there is this girl at school and she is 14 and married. Here is the weird part.... she is amrried to a 24 year old!! Isn't that illeagal??? I mean thats like rape or something. EW! She's pregnant too!! She's liek never gonna have a chance to be a teen,a nd live the "high school experience"

ew It's illegal to be married at 14 I think, isn't the youngest 16 in some states? And yeah being married to a 24 year old is illegal because she is a minor, ick.

it is legal, with parental consent. But really, whose parents would let a 14 year old get married?

Yeah, I agree with all of you. She did ruin her life, and ugh even if I got pregnant at 14 I wouldn't get married I'd get an abortion. I'm 16 and I've only been out with one guy when I was 15 and uh he was 15 too and we only did that once... if you know what that means lol and I sure as hell made sure it was protected. But at 14 getting pregnant by someone who is 24 is totally disguisting ICK ICK ICK there won't even be that big of an age difference between the mother and child. That guy could go to jail because no matter what she is a minor so... yeah.

yeah, but when you are 18 you are considred an adult and having sex with younger girls is considered rape. She dates 17 year old guys.

im pretty sure thats not legal...

cause my friends have been engaged for a year now but cant get married (theyre 15 and 16)
i know its illegal to date someone over 18 if your a minor and there is more than 4 years diff. thats just DATING. so a 16 and 18 yr old could date but a 13 and an 18 yr old could not, and a 14 and 22 yr old could not....its a weird law but its for real around here at least.

na, it's legal.

This woman I work w/ is 19 year old with a 4 year old kid... she was 14 years old when she got married.. wans't pregant, she said she was "wild" and just wanted a man to marry and have a house... turns out she "loved him" and they've been marreid for like 5 years... so it's legal to get married at any age I suppose w/ parents consent
