What if Nipsey Russell Had Gotten The Finish Line (1990) Pilot
I mean, don't get me wrong here folks, Lynn Swann did a superb job giving what he had to work with. But I wonder what would've happen if Nipsey Russell would've gotten the hosting gig for The Finish Line (1990) pilot instead? Since he was the self proclaimed "Poet Laureate of Television" and this pilot is all about poetry. Would this have worked out for him or would've been considered as another red wine stain of his game show hosting career?
Also, if it didn't work for him as host and was still hosted by Mr. Swann, would've he have been a great celebrity player instead? |
