Florida Orange Juice dropped her really fast because she was involved in a bunch of polarizing anti-gay stuff in Miami and Florida. Her commercial career sort of stopped after that. Lesson in marketing: never make 50% of customers angry because of a political agenda. Gay people and their families drink orange juice too.

Orange Bird existed before 1978. I recall seeing some animated ads for Florida juice on various Saturday morning kids' shows circa 1972.
