The most intriguing episodie of UM that I remember (many years agoso might be mixed up) concerned the disappearance of a young woman. She had had a dream before about being abducted, and one day a billboard near her workplace had some graffiti that was somehow linked to her later disappearance. She worked in an office in a shopping mall, and just disappeared one day. A book she was reading was turned to a page with something significant, can't remember what. Does anyone remember that episode, and know if she was ever found, etc.?
Thanks, John |

That was the case of Cynthia Anderson, which aired in 1989. I recall that in 1997 a Lifetime rerun had an update, saying that an informant claimed that she was murdered because she learned of a drug operation. But that update was, strangely, excluded from later rerun telecasts. I eventually learned that there wasn't enough evidence to charge anyone in the Cynthia Anderson case. She has never been found (alive or otherwise). So to date, the disappearance of Cynthia Anderson remains unsolved
![]() She's been missing since 1981, which was 21 years ago. That's a painfully long time, and one must wonder how her family and friends deal with such pain for so long.

Kane,
Thanks for your response to my query. You are right. I cannot imagine anything worse than a loved one disappearing. Regards, John |

You are very welcome. Also, the worst thing about a case like this is the "not knowing," not having a clue as to the current status of the missing person in question. |
