I know people have posted on this case before, but having watched it a couple of times over the past few days, it is fresh in my mind.
I can't help but think that the police spokesman on the segment did NOT want to be there for the interview. And how, if he committed suicide, could the gun have still been in his hands? Seems like it would have fallen to the floor. I have looked to see if there is a book on this case and have not found anything. |

Obviously there is no way of knowing for sure, but if he was the ones who did that and those who helped covered it up are the reason why there is a burning hell as far as I'm concerned. |

I think he was murdered. Too many things don't add up. And I'd have to lean on that side.

I lean 55-45 murder-suicide. I don't buy the DEA informant thing for a second. Could have been road rage, other reasons he was having conflicts, and his own mental state getting questionable. The Fairfax guy was sketchy as hell (expect that in Fairfax).

You mean the spokesperson for the police? He looked like he did not want to be there!

I don’t know why the department even consented to be interviewed. I agree, the guy speaking for them had a bit of a bad attitude. I cannot figure out why there are some police who call suicide before they have all the evidence. Laziness? Or was there a specific reason they disliked Tommy? Makes me wonder. We know often times factual information was left out of segments to make room for more “mysterious” conspiracy content. But knowing enough about Tommy’s parents from the segment it wouldn’t surprise me if he was involved with reporting drug activity. For some reason I got the impression that he might have been a bit of a goody-goody student unwilling to turn his head, reported it and was asked to watch and inform. It could have also been road rage like StackTime suggested although if it was, Tommy must have been tailgating someone in a bad mood. Maybe he had a road rage incident with another student. I’ve also seen rumors about his sexual orientation; maybe he hit on the wrong person. It’s happened before. Maybe that explains Tommy’s confrontation with the other student, him asking to be left alone. Maybe he was being harassed. Whatever was going on, it’s clear he didn’t want his parents to know. He thought he could handle it. The forensics alone convince me he was murdered, though I cannot settle on one reason or another.
Thanks in part to Crystaldawn’s blog, I have become concerned with the amount of information assumed by the show writers, or just left out of segments completely. I’d love to see the full police file for this case. |

Murder. Supposedly one of the killers was the son of a cop. The spokesperson was clearly lying and badly. It doesn't matter though. The case is dead. His parents have been dead for over 20 years now. It does not appear they had other children and no one is trying to get answers. In other words, they got away with murder. Anyone who thinks that was suicide,.....never mind.
