James' support of Alderman Davis. - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

If you remember in the episode where Aldreman Davis first appeared, he was running for reelection. James was supporting Davis, and the rest of the family was supporting his opponent. Needless to say, the opponent lost. My point is that if James had lived, do you think if James had lived he would have stayed with Alderman Davis as a supporter. My opinion is I don't think so with the way that Davis was messing over the Evans family in later episodes.

I don't think he would either, James wouldn't waste any time putting Davis in his place.
