Did country singer Lila McCann first get her start with Chuck Norris?

I remember hearing Lila McCann's hit With You on a Target country artists album and based on liking her I got Lila McCann's second album Something In The Air and loved that album. But what got me more interested in Lila McCann was that she sang Down Came A Blackbird on Walker Texas Ranger and after seeing that episode I liked that song a lot. And it makes me think that Chuck Norris made Lila McCann even more famous as a country artist and I would like to know if this is true? Because I did read that Lila McCann was featured in country music festival hosted by George Strait and George helped Lila get her start

Her first song named "Down Came A Blackbird" was released in 1997. Her appearance on Walker, Texas Ranger was in late 1998.

That's why I liked Down Came A Blackbird and after I saw that episode I got it on my MP3 player and if memory serves correctly was that the episode where Lila played the daughter of a rodeo rider and she had a singing career on the side? Another song that I love of Lila McCann's is her cover of Sheena Easton's Almost Over You
