I saw Bookman on a Popeye's Chicken commercial a few times. I also saw him on a old rerun of The Wayans Bros. He was gonna fight John Weatherspoon over Dee. What is his real name?

Yeah I liked him too. He was on Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In in it's later years and he had a small part in the original "Out of Towners" with Jack Lemmon and Sandy Dennis.
