Jeep Cherokee Chief commercial from 1978
"What Are You Doing?"
"I'm Driving My New Cherokee Chief" The opening line in this commercial is from the new at the time 1978 new Jeep Cherokee Chief promotional commercial. The commercial begins with a guy saying the opening line while picking up his girlfriend and the girlfriend asks the guy the opening question. Then the guy shows what is so special about the 1978 Cherokee Chief then cuts to a wedding scene and then the guy and his bride go in the mountains for their honeymoon while driving their Cherokee Chief then the commercial ends. When it came to cars I think Jeep knew how well the Jeep Cherokee would sell and when the Cherokee Chief debuted in the 60's Jeep had indeed scored a winner on their hands. I don't know if Jeep still makes Cherokee Chiefs today but this commercial is a collector's item for classic car fans |
