• Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber are recounting their experience working with Danielle Fishel during her first acting role: a bit part in a season 6 episode of Full House.

On the Tuesday, March 10 episode of their Full House recap podcast, How Rude, Tanneritos!, the two rehashed how "natural" Fishel was as an actor.

Fishel, 44, is best known for playing Topanga on Boy Meets World and its spinoff show, Girl Meets World.

But on season 6, episode 10 of Full House, Fishel appeared as Jennifer S., one of the coolest girls in the 5th grade, who pressures Stephanie Tanner (played by Sweetin) to pierce her ears.



When Fishel's character is introduced in the episode alongside another character named Jennifer, she says, "I'm Jennifer, too — not the number two, but also."

"I remember that line," Sweetin, 44, said. "I don't know why, I just remember her saying that line because ... she delivered it so hilariously. Like, and just her big eyes and, you know, like, just Danielle just being Danielle."

Barber, 49, echoed: "She's so perfect in this and you would never know it was her very first acting job. Like, she's just so natural. She's got those '90s feathered bangs. Like, she's just so perfect for this role."

"Don't get me started on Danielle's hair," Sweetin said. "Her and her good hair."

Fishel would go on to play Topanga Lawrence on the TGIF sitcom Boy Meets World for seven seasons from 1993 to 2000. The actress initially had a smaller role in the series but wound up replacing the original actress chosen to play Topanga.

She did two Full House episodes. Her second episode is when Stephanie finds out that the problem child in her school class was getting beaten at home by his dad.
