Default My sister has passed away

My sister and best friend,Leah, passed away last night from complications from a fall. She was a retired RN. I just can't believe that she won't be calling me everyday. I always considered her the family beauty(as you can see)

She had several other physical problems (COPD,A fib) that were severly aggravated by phsical therapy, She broke her sternum in the fall. Her body just couldn't recover properly.

Did the love of The Beatles run in the family?

She was 4 years younger than me. She liked the Beatles but her favorite was Barry Manilow We were very close but had very different tastes in movies, music, etc.

It seems that the older sibling is less likely to be a Manilow fan. My brother is 3 & 1/2 years older than me and would never listen to him. By contrast about 20% of my current playlist is Barry Manilow...!

Marlene,

Although we may not understand the tragedies in life,
we are always in the Lord’s hands.
We’re praying that you find healing comfort in your heart
though these difficult times

Your sister has finished the race and is now celebrating in Heaven.
As you mourn her loss, remember also to celebrate her memory,
as she would have wanted you to do.

Nothing will ever replace the loss in your heart that your sister occupied.
Just keep the loss in your heart fulfilled
with your memories and experiences together,
~~that way she’ll always be there with you.~~
Though your sister is no longer with you,
there is nothing that can take her from your memory and
the things you shared with her.

I am so sorry for your loss.

We are all thinking of you, praying for you, and interceding on your behalf;
Please accept our sympathies and sincere condolences to you and your family.

Psalm 34:18
The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.
