Yep! If I wanted to sell drugs or sex those are the bracelets I'd use to convince any naysayers to buy some. Who is running this show. You have to figure that they run this junk by the young people and see what kind of reaction they'll get from it. Your reaction is probably typical. It's an insult to your intelligence.

That does look pretty lame and say you do have to wear em all week? You got a keychain on your bookbag? Hook them on there. Then you can say you have them with you and you don't have to wear them.

Well Today was required if you didn't they write you up. But wehad an asembly today on how much wearing it means and we are wearing it for the victims, yadda yadda...so not really...but there are very few that don't. And the ironic thing is that almost everyone in my school uses drugs, smokes, and drinks...It makes no sence to me. I hate this school.

Sounds like something they'd do over here with the write ups. Any chance you could transfer to a public school next year? School is hell as it is, but if you hate it that makes it even more hellish.

That sucks that your mom won't let you transfer. Next year isn't so bad. I don't want this to be a typical answer because it really does go by faster than you think it will. It does seem so slow when you are still going, but then when you're out you realize that it went by quick.

Those bracelets are an insult to kids intelligence.........although the monkey one is kinda cute!
Adults need to wisen-up and realise that, if a youngster is thinking of taking drugs or drinking then they are gonna do it anyway no matter what some stupid slogan says! Sometimes the only thing you can do is let a person make their own mistakes. Making me wear some dumb bracelet is definately gonna make me wanna get drunk!!!
