I just finished reading Maria's book for the 3rd time last night. Each time I read it I find things to discuss on this teriffic board.
Maria said that Freddie recieved 200.00 for the sale of a song he wrote. the title is never mentioned. I wonder what it was called, who bought it? I wish there were a way we could find it I for one would love to hear it. Someone on this board mentioned visiting Freddie's grave on his birthday, wouldn't it be cool to meet his mother I would love to ask her about Freddie's song, and if she could share it with Freddie's fans. Just a thought |

Also in the book Maria says that Freddie came over one day and played a song he had been working on (a haunting melody) no words just music but that was well after he sold his song But I wonder if his first song was a love ballad or a hymn?

I am keenly interested in Both of these songs. The one he sold and the one he was playing that his Mom spoke of. I wish he had recorded it, even at home himself. At least we would have a sense of the sadness he was feeling then.
