Production No. 16168 - "The Mustache"
Wally is off to his girlfriend Julie Foster's house, on the assumption she's there--but when June phones, she's gone on a date. Later at school, Wally see's Julie arm in arm with a new Beau--who has a mustache. Eddie and Lumpy overhear Julie telling her girlfriends she finds Wally to be immature and naive. He admonishes Clarence not to tell Wally what they heard, but tells Wally himself. Based on this information, Wally decides to grow a mustche himself during a school break. When the girls and other students see his mustache, they tease him. He spends a rough rest-of-the-day at school, and shave off the mustsche later. Eventually Wally and Julie reconcile. Production No, 16169 - "The Parking Attendants" Wally and Eddie get jobs parking cars at the Langley wedding reception, and Eddie mistakenly parks Fred Rutherford's car in a tow away zone. Of course, it's towed. Wally accepts responsibility and refuses Langley's offer of payment. Richard Simmons plays Langley, and plays the same role in a later episode. Production No. 16170 - "More Blessed to Give" Beaver is hung up on pretty classmate Donna Yeager, and gives her a gold locket he won at the carnival. Her father blows his stack when he finds out, says he knows Ward, and mails it back. June gets the delivery, and seeing the pictures Beaver put in there, assumes she gave it to Beaver. Knowing Mr. Yeager, Ward takes it back to him, and he gives Ward the correct story. Chrystie Jordan plays Donna, the second role she has in this season. Production No. 16171 - "Beaver's Good Deed" Beaver wants to go to the movies with Gilbert, and sluffs off a babysitting commitment. Ward lectures him about being kind and considerate. Keeping this in mind, Beaver lets a bum in the house--as is usually the case when Beaver gets in trouble at home, his parents are away. Beaver goes way overboard and lets the guy take a bath--he tells Beaver he has a job interview. He takes Ward's good clothes, and exits, unseen. Later, June finds the bum's old duds crumpled on the floor, and the bathroom a mess. Ward does his usual detective work, and warns Beaver to never let strangers in the house. |
