Default The Golden Girls Joins MeTV March 16 - Weeknights at 10-11pm & Sundays at 6pm, 8-10pm

The Golden Girls will air WeekNights at 10:00pm & 10:30pm.
(Replacing 2 episodes of Hogans Heroes)

The Golden Girls will also air Sundays at 6:00pm & Sundays 8:00pm-10:00pm.
(Replacing an episode of The Andy Griffith Show & 4x’s of All In The Family)

Other Changes Sundays

Off Subject I would love to see Leave It To Beaver & The Three Stooges added to Catchy Comedy.

I have a feeling Perry Mason at 11:30pm & 12:00AM might be next? Seinfeld or Bewitched would fit perfectly. Time will tell.

However I hope Me TV will also add & bring in Sitcoms from the 50’s & 60’s. Even install a block of Family Sitcoms from that era perhaps after Svengoolie Movie on Saturday Nights from 10:30pm-6:00AM (Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet and The Donna Reed Show and Leave It To Beaver and The Patty Duke Show and My Three Sons and Dennis the Menace and Bewitched and The Real Mcoys and The Danny Thomas Show and The Addams Family and The Munsters and others! Hosted by Sven and Sven Squad.

Thank goodness Hogan’s Heroes has finally been dethroned from that spot that it dominated for so many years. Also glad to see the Golden Girls finally show up on a free over the air network. I don’t know why it took so many years but better late than never. Hopefully Empty Nest will come to at some point later on.

I just don't get Golden Girls. I tried it fresh a couple years ago, but had to push to get through the third season. It obviously has its audience.

Hogan, of course, has been there forever. I like it, but have only watched a few episodes in recent years (e.g., Lebeau and the Little Old Lady).

How do you know what the schedule is going to be because it's not fully released how can you verify those shows are going to be on at that time. Where are you getting this information is there a schedule somewhere would like to see it.

And with this announcement it makes it even more disappointing that sister network Catchy has done away with weekend binges. I would watch a Golden Girls binge on there.

I am so disappointed that catchy comedy has done away with their binge and it would definitely watch our whole day of the Golden Girls I have a big fan of the golden girls.

I might be wrong but I would think either when it’s time for The Summer Of Me they will do Binges on Sundays or mini Binges overnight after Carol Burnett-Perry Mason.

Who Knows maybe Catchy Comedy will bring back Full Saturday/Sunday Weekend Binges in the Summer/Holiday Season. Look how long brinning the Classic CBS lineup lasted.

I can definitely see Mason moving to midnight with the Twilight Zone moving to 1:05 replacing one of the Hitchcock episodes. With respect to Bewitched, you must be kidding. We're on the TV Land expressway now, the shows from the 60's and 50's are finished as far as METV is concerned. Seinfeld is a possibility for 11pm-midnight replacing Carol Burnett. The show that really sticks out like a sore thumb is TAGS, I can see them looking to replace that in the next year. The METV strategy is pretty straight forward, the network is looking to get the age of their average viewer down so anything prior to 1970 wouldn't interest the network. The job is to find shows from let's say about 1980 and beyond that have been successful in syndication. Anyone who remembers the oldie stations that were once all over the radio dial, or remembers the original Nick at Nite or TV Land knows exactly what this is.
