I don't understand why the clothing drive is the next to last ep and both boys go to school if they've already graduated. And how come they are not showing the scrapbook ep this go round? I also wanted to say that they seemed to have waited an AWFULLY long time to have June stand up to Ward the way she did. I mean throughout the entire series June never would have made the fuss she did over having to go to school to take back Ward's suits. And why did Beaver's teacher have to embarrass poor Ward about that anyway. Just kind of an out of character ep.

i could not STOP laughing at June's stand up to ward!!!!! I mean, while it did draw away from what her character was really supposed to be, it brought to my attention that June finally proved Ward wrong, another stand up for woman's lib, which during the early 60's was a big issue throughout the country, I too agree that it was a little out of character ep becuase ward acting as though he was a little kid who was afraid to go tos chool, shouldn't have been so upset, i mean, who cares, and mrs. rayburn ordinarily WOULD have understood the predicament, afterall, she already dealt with Beaver and his gay looking weirded out sweatshirt!! (which i guess i shouldn't say gay becuase it was actually one of my favorite episodes)

But back to the topic...I think this ep was written by someone who had never written for the show before. All of them seemed out of character, even the boys seemed a little stiff. I also don't understand how they went to school after they graduated. June's hair also was SHORT again! I know she could have cut it or something but I don't think that happened because it's long again in the last ep. |

The clothing drive episode doesn't really bother me. I don't care much for the scrapbook episode though. I'm glad the practical joke ep is on instead.
