Maybe this has been done before, but I'd be curious to hear about different people's personal experience with LITB - when and where did you first see it, and when did you realize it was a favorite? Did anyone see it during its initial run?
For myself, I grew up with "reruns" (as we called them then) of Lucy, Andy Griffith, and other vintage shows in the late '80s and '90s (on network TV as well as Nick at Nite while on vacation) but didn't actually discover Beaver until my teen/early adult years. It became solidified as my favorite vintage show sometime around when MeTV was running it in the afternoons in the 2000s. I started collecting the DVDs and became quite expert in the show, rewatching many of the episodes. |

I'm old, and grew up with the originals. Then, many years later saw reruns, probably first on WHMB locally and TV Land.
