Default Season 3 Discussion

I read in a 1977 article that there is no graduation for Julie and viewers are supposed to assume she already graduated lol Season 3 starts with Julie and the older man 4 parts.

Two seasons in a row they open with a Julie based 4 parter. Running away and now the “old” guy. I think they say he’s 42.

And I guess he came to the house to meet the family like the 42 year old on Good Times did with Thelma

Yeah. A lot different than nowadays if a guy much older wanted to date a daughter. Probably try to get him arrested now!

This 4 parter is pretty good. But yeah, same as season. 2, starts out really focusing on Julie much more than Barbara. As TVFactfan said before.

Yeah, could be. Would have been in the fall when the World Series would be going on.

1977 was also Yankees- Dodgers, so was probably highly rated.

So who do you think they were rooting for in Indianapolis ? Say if Ann, Julie, Barbara , Schneider were in real life . I wonder if they were going for the Dodgers or the Yankees?

Since David had moved to and was living in LA, maybe the Dodgers.

But the Yankees won the series

Schneider made the audience explode when the frog made a noise and he asked Julie

"Did you have a burrito for Lunch?

It’s sad the guy with Julie died like 2 years later at age 45.
