Yeah she used to sing country songs and she has said she really was forced into that kind of music by her parents and to sing at churches so yeah, they were hiding the punk that was inside.

Cause she like Country, haven't you like a certain type of music and then hated it. I used to listen to Jazz, Blues, and teenypop (Britney Spears, etc) but I'm over that music now. So basically she got over country music and let the punk rocker out in her. When they asked what she wanted to do for the album she said she wanted to rock out, I don't know where I heard that quote was but I found it either in a magazine or website. SHE ****ING RAWKS!
