What a Horrible Way to End The Rockford Files

GET will be airing the final movie of the 90s sequel movies If It Bleeds It Leads, that still starred James Garner, tonight from 11PM-1AM eastern time. I saw it a few months ago, if you don't want spoilers stop reading now.



Hal Linden and Rita Moreno gave great performances. Hal played a character who was falsely accused of child molestation because he had a dead ringer (not a twin). Even after being acquitted, his jerk of a principal boss wouldn't give him his school teacher job back. People still wouldn't accept him because the media had been ruthless, condemning him before the trial. As a result, Hal's character committed suicide. A depressing downer way to have The Rockford Files end. It will be awhile before I re-watch this, if I do.
