June planned to collect for the Community Chest, but she forgot an event at Wally's school. So the only option (couldn't do it tomorrow, for example) was for Beaver to collect in her place. He decided to bring Gilbert along.

After a comical fat guy who they disturbed while he was showering, the predictable happens--Beaver loses the money. Would they think to go back and look on the bench where they were enjoying ice cream cones? Of course not--so Beaver has to confess to Ward that he screwed up again. So Beaver is sent out to find all the contributors, so Ward can replace the money. (In another comical scene, a contributor lady pulls the boys in for a piece of cake while she finds her purse.). One of the contributors in a bit role - former Miss America Lee Meriwether.

Eventually all the contributors re-contribute, doubling the money collected, since the original lost money is found.

Just thought of another comment - wonder if this title could refer to Marlene Holmes! lol
