Default Steven and Andy appeared on an episode of Day By Day?

According to the Family Ties wiki page, the characters Steven and Andy made an appearance on the show Day By Day. I never knew that. Has anyone ever seen this episode and if so, what happened?

I saw it but honestly don't remember much about it. I haven't seen Day by Day since Lifetime reran it in the early 90's. I know that Steven and Doug Sheehan's character went to College together. The shows aired back to back on Sundays and Gary Goldberg created both shows. Day by Day was a pretty good show. I wish it would have lasted longer.

I don't remember the show Day By Day. I don't know if I've ever seen it. That's cool that two of the FT cast appeared on the show.

I went to youtube to see if anyone uploaded it and all I could find was the Brady Bunch episode.

I really don't remember much about the show, other than they had a daycare center. I probably watched a couple of episodes since it came on after Family Ties and I watched that every week once it moved to Sundays, but I was also watching Married... With Children regularly too around that time and it came on right after FT. Hard to believe that was 25 years ago.

They should include that episode as a bonus feature on the Family Ties Season 7 DVD set!

I know what you mean. Where have the years gone? We didn't get a Fox affiliate until November 1989 so I watched the show every week. I remember when we first got Fox, I was watching everything on it. I wanted to see MWC because it was in all the newspapers how controversial it was.

Day by Day was a good show. They ran a daycare center and Courtney-Thorne Smith, Julia Louise-Dreyfus and Thora Birch were all regulars long before anyone knew who they were.

I still remember watching Married.. with Children for the first time. It was the season 2 episode where they went to a motel and there was an axe murderer on the loose. Not the kind of show an 8 year old kid should be watching. I thought it was great.

2 of the hottest tv actresses of all time on 1 show! They should release it on DVD.

I have said the same thing many times- I hope it is included on the Season 7 DVD set for Family Ties. I'd also like to see "The Art of Being Nick" pilot included, as well as the 1988 PBS special on Family Ties.
I have not seen this "Day By Day" episode, but as a fan of "Family Ties", I would definitely like to see it sometime. I'd love to see "The Brady Bunch" episode as well, for that matter. Christopher Daniel Barnes also starred on "Day By Day" and I like him pretty well as an actor- he was also the voice of Peter Parker/Spider-Man on the 1994-1998 "Spider-Man" cartoon and of course, he starred as Scott Hayden on "Starman"- the 1986-1987 TV show version of the classic 1984 movie- which is by far one of the best TV shows based on a movie ever! I LOVE this series- and movie, for that matter. It's so great that the show finally got officially released to DVD recently.
