So most TV homes seem to have sound proof rooms, people can be arguing loudly in the kitchen and the ppl in the living room can't hear them lol
BUT people can be in the living room and have a conversation with someone on the front porch through a closed front door! I was just watching on shows like Sanford and Son, All in the Family, etc.... someone knocks on the front door and the person inside will yell, "WHO IS IT?" not even that loud, and the person outside well introduce themself and the would proceed to talk a bit before the door finally opens lol Fred Sanford even had a mini chat from his KITCHEN with someone on the outside of his FRONT door! ![]() I dunno how other people's houses work, but that could have never happened in any house I lived in lol |

On most medical dramas, the patients and staff seem to have these long discussions on their lives, past regrets, spousal issues...
That's not how my hospital stays went. I was lucky if I got to speak to the doctor for 2 minutes. |

If a group or family is watching a TV show, its audio stops for any commentary by the watchers. "Stop the newscast for a minute or two! The Taylors have a comment."
