After seeing the tail end of the Kelsey Grammer episode I decided to give 227 another chance. I mostly like it now, but Jackee can still get annoying fast. Yet the pilot didn't air today, not Antenna TV's fault but NBC's. They didn't originally air the pilot until episode 6, so that is how it appears in the syndication package. The real pilot will air two weeks from today, next week everything before 7:00 is preempted for the Maude marathon.
Marla Gibb's main character Mary Jenkins is a lock for my top 1111 list when I put the tweaks in. Helen Martin deserved to be in the opening credits.

They added her in the credits in the show's 2nd season onwards.

That makes Welcome Back Kotter twice as good. They only waited till episode 3 to air their pilot.
