the writing for her is just awful and it doesn't suit her personality at all. yuuuuuck

Rose was naive when the show began, but like Chrissy from “Three’s Company,” was dumbed down horrible. Barring Dorothy, as the seasons went on, Rose, Blanche, and Sophia became one dimensional. Rose was dumbed down horrible, Blanche was a slut, and Sophia was mean. Only Dorothy maintained her character layers.
