Default Whitey Whitney

Does anyone ever notice that Whitey never seems to grow up? Even in the final season when Beaver and his pals are about to enter High School Whitey still looks about 10 yrs old. His voice still hasn't changed and the girls all tower over him. I guess he was a late bloomer.

Oh my God! I noticed the same thing. I was watching one of the Beaver episodes tonight. Actually, I just caught the tail end of it. Gilbert and Beaver were talking and you could actually see they were getting older just by looking at their facial features. Then the camera panned over to Whitey and he still looked so young.

HHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!! I was thinking the same thing like 2 or 3 seasons ago! but especially when i saw him last night, i was just like, "JEEZ!!! Doens't that kid EVERY GORW UP!!!!" it seemed like he never got taller, his voice certainly never changed, and he never got that manlier looking face like beaver and gilbert, he basically has the same stouty little legs with his high pitched squealy voice! FOREVER!!!!!!! hahhaha!

I know, i wonder if that was seriously all he was supposed to grow, i dunno, maybe he was really younger than the other boys and hadn't reached puberty yet....

I assume Whitey was around the same age as Beaver in real life because if you notice in the 1st couple seasons, especially the eps where Beaver puts the snake in Miss Canfields desk and the one where Beaver calls Linda Dennison a smelly old ape, Whitey looks like hes in 2nd/3rd grade just like Beaver. He's a little bit smaller than Beaver but there is nowhere near the height difference like there is in the final season.

Does anybody have a recent pic of him? I'd love to see what he looks like now.

I think he might have a pituitary problem. If you notice his older brother Tiger Fafara is just as tall as the other boys when he's around 13, but Stanley is way shorter when he reaches that age, and I don't think its just because he's going through a late puberty. Ken Osmond went through a late puberty. If you notice in the first couple of seasons, he's shorter than Tony Dow, who's two years younger than Ken. In that instance, I think it was simply a matter of weight, Ken just didn't have enough weight to push him into puberty until he was about 16. But Stanley Fafara is SO much shorter than his peers that I really get the feeling that its due to some sort of medical condition. I could be wrong, but that's just my impression.

I know I seen a picture of Stanley somewhere on the web, but you think I can find it now? NO.

But I did come across an awesome interview of Stanley at this site here. Enjoy!

He used to have his own website. I remember he e-mailed me about 3 years ago and asked me to link to his site. He had a page where he would answer questions people e-mailed him.

I think his current site is at http://www.fafara.com - but it's under construction.

I tried looking at his own website through web.archive.org but unfortunately none of it looks like it was saved..

old url - http://www.users.uswest.net/~sfafara

I believe he's an artist in Washington state or Oregon.

That is the site I saw a pic of him at. He looked totally different. But now, that site is totally different, and of course, no pic!
