Default Catchy Comedy Q1 2026 Schedule

Effective December 29th, Catchy Comedy will be changing their schedule to accommodate a few new shows to their lineup.
First, Here's Lucy makes its Catchy debut, airing weekdays at 11am ET, with The Lucy Show now airing only 1 episode at 11:30am ET, alongside The Beverly Hillbillies making their Catchy debut, airing weekdays at 5pm ET, moving Mama's Family to 6pm ET, with Good Times gone from the lineup, while Sanford and Son remains at 7pm ET, with it also airing on Antenna TV weekdays at 7am ET, weeknights at 10pm ET and Saturdays at 3pm ET. Therefore, the Norman Lear's Catchy Classics block will be discontinued, but S&S and All in the Family will continue to air on Catchy in their respective times.
Then, with Newhart gone from the lineup completely, replacing Newhart at 1:30am ET on weeknights on the Smart and Catchy Sitcoms block is Get Smart, which also airs at 3am on late Saturday nights, and replacing Newhart on Saturdays from 1am-3am ET is The Bob Newhart Show. The Flying Nun will also be removed, with Petticoat Junction at 5am ET and That Girl at 5:30am ET on Mondays-Thursdays and a full hour of ALF on Fridays.
Then, on Saturdays at 8am ET, replacing Square Pegs will be The Monkees.
As I said earlier, The Bob Newhart Show will replace Newhart, with it totally gone from their lineup, and joining their lineup will be The Best of Groucho, a syndication package of You Bet Your Life with Groucho Marx. It will air at 4am ET on Saturdays, replacing The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis at that slot.
Everything else remains as is.

5:00 pm is always something of a dead spot. Hillbillies are always welcome.

I just hope thy don’t start crunching the credits on the Beverly Hillbillies now that it’s on the main schedule full time.

The 12am to 130am time frame is a selection of Fall back shows. It fits the time slot perfectly

Looks like they are not crunching Beverly Hillbillies or Petticoat Junction. Let’s hope it stays that way.

I am disappointed that Newhart has been taken off the schedule. There is too much Dick Van Dyke during the day. Catchy Comedy could just air one episode at 1pm. Then Newhart and possibly another new comedy could have been added to the lineup. It would have been so cool to have Golden Girls airing after Hot In Cleveland.

Truly the end of an era. The Decades / Catchy Binge is finally gone after all these years. The only chance I can see it coming back is on the MeTV Plus channel.

February is still Q1. It's a little too early to start a Q2 thread. Q2 will be in April.

Q1 - January 1 – March 31
Q2 - April 1 – June 30
Q3 - July 1 – September 30
Q4 - October 1 – December 31

Bummed to see the Happy Days Saturday run eliminated. Just disappointing a show with 11 seasons isn't given more airtime.

Interesting choice with Sundays; looks like they're going with a women-led comedy block leading into Lucy?
