A thought about "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Its no doubt in anybody's mind its a classic that is always annually sung every year in December and of course as a kid you wouldn't think about it that much, but as a grown up it hits you differently.

And I know this sounds like something a clueless Gen Z person would say, but when you hear the lyrics claiming that "He sees you when you're sleeping" and that "He knows when you're awake". Doesn't that kind of sounds stalkish and creepy to you in your mind or is it just my imagination?
