I don't think its a bad look. I wonder why it hasn't come back into style?

Peaky Blunders showed some lads with slicked back hair.

The only times were when I was very young, under 8 or so, and having a cowlick of unruly hair my mom would put some Wildroot ("Creme-Oil") on it to get me ready for church.
