"Palm Springs Paradise" (season 5 show 73)
(originally aired Wed. May 7, 2025) Guided Muscle (Road Runner - 1955 - Jones) Strife with Father (1950 [reissued 1961] - McKimson) - reissued in 1961; has been restored to original 1950 form. Beaky Buzzard is another Mel Blanc voice in this one, but the character was voiced by Kent Rogers in past cartoons ("Bugs Bunny Gets the Boid", "The Bashful Buzzard"). Vacation with Play (Popeye - 1951 - Kneitel) Half Empty Saddles (Woody - 1958 - Smith) - original 2025 airing was the first time on Toon In with Me Road to Andalay (Speedy, Sylvester - 1964 - Freleng [co-director Hawley Pratt]) - an early (second) DePatie-Freleng Enterprises cartoon for Warners; the first one, "Pancho's Hideaway", has never been shown on the MeTV networks. |

"Stuntman Bill" (season 5 show 79)
(originally aired Thu. May 15, 2025) Big Top Bunny (Bugs - 1951 [reissued 1963] - McKimson) - this is the 1963 reissue copy, which altered the opening and closing, rather than the 1951 original Daredevil Droopy (1951 - Avery) I Wanna Be a Life Guard (Popeye - 1936 - Fleischer) A Waggily Tale (1958 - Freleng) A Star is Bored (Bugs, Daffy - 1956 - Freleng) - Daffy takes roles as Bugs' stunt double, which in all cases does not end well for him. One gag is Freleng's oft-used bow tied to two rifles. |

Just noticed that "Mouse-Taken Identity," which has been edited on MeTV in the past, was just shown uncensored on MeTV Toons.
The editing involved the "giant mouse" chasing Sylvester, in an Indian feather, around a Native American statue, and eventually showing himself to Sylvester Junior scalped. |

Again on MeTV Toons, I just noticed the long Fort Paleface gag in "Feather Dusted" is shown uncensored. This has been edited, but sometimes not, on main MeTV.
