Post What else did his autopsy reveal?

As I was making a reply to Freddie's religion
another question came to my mind.
Does anyone know what if anything else Freddie's autopsy revealed?
The book said he was bleeding inside, I wonder if they found out what from, drugs, or did he have a condition no one knew about?
Maybe he found something medically wrong that he couldn't deal with on top of everything else. Here I'm grasping at straws

I'd read that where he told his dad he was bleeding inside. I had thought well maybe he meant his heart was bleeding cuz his wife divorced him & wouldn't let him see the son. But you have brought out a very interesting question. I wonder if he was medically ill & didn't tell anyone. If so, how sad. Poor dear!

Hopefully someone knows will let us know the details on here. I'd love to know too. Poor Freddie!

Sad

Yes, I read in his Mom's book when he disclosed to his Dad that he was bleeding internally. I remember that they did find alcohol and Quaaludes in his system during the autopsy. I am just speculating, but wonder if he had taken so many of these pills that they had started to erode the lining of his stomach? This and the weight loss are probably connected. That is the pills may have only exacerbated the problem; He perhaps could not keep any food on his stomach, thus his stomach and general health suffered because he was not taking in enough nutrients. A vicious cycle...Poor baby!

I think it does. Does drug use has something to do with that also im not sure about that one?

True Peko. I asked someone about this condition and they replied that most likely, an individual in this situation should have had surgery to correct it.

This may be from out of left field, but I remember reading that Kurt Cobain, who was also a heavy drug user since he was a child, complained of severe stomach pains. In fact, his suicide note said something like, "Thanks to all of you from the pit of my aching, nauseous stomach." So the drug-use/stomach bleeding connection is not out of the question...

Yeah Kurt Cobain suffered from a severe stomach condition. I believe he had very bad ulsers and stuff from heavy drinking and drug use. He even mentions it is one of his songs he says " Im on cherry flavored anti-acid" I think part of his depression was about his very bad stomach condition.

Hey Ed,

The line before in the Cobain song goes, "I'm on warm milk and laxatives..."

Cool

Joy you brought up such good questions on Freddies autopsy. You know I hate the idea they cut on the poor guy.
