Default How many times can YOU count Calvada?

I have noticed that the name "Calvada" (Calvada Productions, much like I Love Lucy's references to Phillip Morris) has come up in the DVD ep's. I can count two so far...(just since I've been looking). In the ep about the gangster "Big Max Calvada" and the one where Rob buys the motorcycle and he rides up to that diner on that little bike and the jacket Sally and Buddy gave him with the tulip on it and the billboard says "Drink Calvada Cola". How many times has this name been referenced to in all the 5 years DVD ran?

Just curious

Thumbs up

Good post Pickles! I've often noticed the constant use of 'Calvada' in the show as well, but do you think I can think of any other references now that you're asking me?

Being at school and work all day will do that to you....

(And this will really show you how fried my brain is, but I'm a huge ILL fan, and while I know Phillip-Moris was a big sponser for the show, I can't remember any references ever made to them. Let me know otherwise it will bug me all night! )

In "The Great Petrie Fortune," there was a Calvada among the stocks belonging to Rob's Uncle Hezekiah (Sp??). I can't remember the exact name of the stock, but I remember saying, "Hey, another reference to Calvada!" LOL Can anyone else think of more?

This could go on forever...LOL
There was a reference to PM when Lucy couldnt decide what to name their baby...she asked Ricky, What about Phillip if its a boy..." and Ricky finished it, "...And Morris if its a girl?".

The episode where they misspelled Ricardo on the marriage liscence and Lucy insisted Ricky take her back to where it all took place the first time (the ep that featured Mrs. Trumble for the first time, but as another character, "mother", mayor of the little town where L&R got married). The JoP says, "Call for...", and he turns to Ricky and says, "For the life of me, I cant remember how that ends...". The joke was, that this was the PM call...a little bellhop, in the advertisements would come into a lobby and yell, "Call for Phillip Morris!".

Once when Ricky and Fred were eating in a diner (dont remember exact ep...I think it was the one where Ricky makes it look like the apratment is on fire)...there is a Phillip Morris poster behind them.

There are just tons of PM references in ILL ep's!

And, Kristen! Good eye! I missed that one of the Calvada stock LOL
