I asked Google Gemini about this. Jerry commented in a 2008 interview that this was an idea that had come to him. Leave it to some FB twit to blow it all up. Why did I ever break my long standing policy of never clicking on anything out of FB. Lessons learned.

It'd be interesting to see who they'd cast in the role. Didn't he once date the female version of himself? IIRC that didn't go well.

Here I thought Mrs. Seinfeld was referring to Jerry's mother Helen. That show would have skewed ancient but Liz Sheridan and Barney Martin reprising their roles now as the main stars would have still made it amazing. Jerry's Mrs. Seinfeld idea though, good thing he didn't run with it, unless it was about and starred his real wife.

Its hard to imagine anyone in that role. Christine Taylor (Jerry Stiller's daughter-in-law) comes to mind, but she's too sweet.
