Our Friend the dancing banana appeared on TV tonight.Tonight's episode of "Ed" to be exact!

I saw it. Kelly Ripa's character was trying to cheer up Ed, and she said that this thing on the internet was guaranteed to make him laugh or smile or something to that effect.

And so the dancing banana comes on (about 2 inches tall) in the middle of the screen and music starts playing and beneath him it says something like "Peanut Butter and Jelly Time" and the singing begins saying it over and over "peanut butter and jelly time"

I'm pretty sure it was peanut butter and jelly time - though it could have a variation on that.

I saw it too. Probably the only good thing about the episode tonight. I used to love Ed, but it's really starting to stink, IMHO.
