Was the missing persons case of Pamela June Ray ever solved? She went missing from a hotel parking lot in Panama City Beach, FL USA in 1989.

I don't think so. I believe that case was just on a few nights ago and I didn't hear any updates.

I'd forgotten about that one. I haven't seen it in a while. I hope there's an update eventually.

If you put her name into google.com, there are some interesting articles written on the case that will come up. It played this week and there was no update unfortuantely.

I often go to google.com myself. One of the reasons is to find links of unsolved cases (especially those that were featured on UM). Here's a link on a March 2000 article on Pamela June Ray.

That’s a good write up. But as one who was/is familiar with PCB, I said this in her other thread here and I will repeat it again. The Wilhite might have been an inexpensive motel, but it was not a cheap, seedy motel. It was a mom & pop type place frequented by families. It was quite common back then for a guest to call ahead and the owner would leave the key in an agreed upon spot if the guest planned to arrive after hours. It’s speculated this might be what happened and the owner either forgot to leave the key or the killer saw it placed by the owner and took it.

As for the children being in the hot car that morning. , it wasn’t sunny and hot. We were spending a few days in PCB when this took place. It wasn’t just raining, it was storming. So the kids wouldn’t have been too hot in the car.
