An I Love Lucy Thanksgiving:

(Lucy comes home.)

Lucy: “Hello Ricky!”

Ricky: “Lucy, what have you done?”

Lucy: “I didn’t buy anything. My club is having a Thanksgiving pageant on Thanksgiving Eve and I will be the turkey. I am making the costume.”

(Ricky laughs.)

Lucy: “What’s so funny?”

Ricky: “Oh, I can make so many jokes about this.”

Lucy: “I’ll have you know that I am getting better at sewing. I will make it in advance.”

Ricky: “Like two minutes in advance?”

Lucy: “Very funny.”

(The Mertzes arrive.)

Ethel: “Hi everyone.”

Fred: “Hi Rick! I understand that Lucy is gonna be the turkey in a play. I can make so many jokes about this.”

(Ricky laughs.)

Lucy: “I’ll show you.”

(The morning of the show, Lucy starts sewing. Ethel is looking.)

Ethel: “Lucy, this material doesn’t look to be that good. Are you sure about this?”

Lucy: “Ethel, I am and with this pageant being streamed live on the Internet and TV, I will be a celebrity in show business.”

(Lucy makes the costume and it’s time for the show. The men are watching in the crowd.)

Ethel: “Lucy, you should put on some clothes on underneath.”

Lucy: “If I do Ethel, I’ll get hot. Now it’s time for my part.”

(Lucy gets on stage and the butt part of her costume rips and she is butt naked but we don’t see it. Everyone but Lucy and her friends laugh. They all get backstage.)

Head Club Member: “Lucy, you are OUT of the Wednesday Afternoon Fine Arts League especially with this moment making the headlines.”

Lucy: “Ewwww!”
