Post Was Freddie's father jeolous?

I hope I'm not becoming a pest here but things keep coming to my mind.
wondering about Freddie's relationship with his Father I thought of something.
(no offense to any of the guys) I've read that sometimes guys can get jeolous of a new baby on the scene. I wonder if that may have been the case with Karl, toward Freddie
Maria said in her book near the end that Freddie needed me then and Karl needs me now.
I wonder what Karl thought of Maria doing so much for Freddie(and if he was jeolous of their closeness

joy that would be so sad wouldn`t it? It does happen, he could of been jealous of Freddies success, like Jack Cassity was of his son Davids. Your not a pest, thats what we`re all here for.

Joy! You ask such good questions! In Maria's book she wrote that Karl was afraid to take more responsibility for Freddie because he was afraid to. It all stems from the accidental drowning of his daughter.

I have no idea if he was jealous but, men get a little jealous sometimes. Children take away attention from the spouse. Men want all the attention!

I love reading all the questions as it helps me find out mroe on him. So ask away!

I think his mom said in her book the dad had some kind of Cancer like throat cancer so I think that's why the dad needed her then...

Great questions Joy. That's why we are here and we all want to learn more. You have a point. I wonder how he felt in his heart about all of this. To Ed Brown, Jr. that was a great statement.
