because the shows you are mentioning are relatively new. Let me suggest perhaps the greatest drama of all time (in fact this show is probably one of the top 5 greatest shows of all time, period):
THE FUGITIVE If you've never seen it (I didn't see it for the first time until about 10 years ago when it was on A&E) you owe it to yourself to do so. This show is absolutely captivating, and when I've shown it to kids, teens and young adults, they've all fallen in love with it. Trust me, once you start watching, you can't stop! B&W "David Jannsen was an absolutely fabulous actor that died way too young" fan |

1. Touched by an Angel
2. Our House 3. Little House on the Prarie 4. Knight Rider 5. The Dukes of Hazzard 6. American Dreams 7. Dallas 8. Charlie's Angels 9. Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman (edited to add): I would have listed The Wonder Years as #10,- but apparenly it was a sitcom, not a drama, right? (the fact that it doesn't have a laugh track throws me off) |

I agree, The Fugitive with David Janssen was a good show. The other versions were okay, I guess, but it was the best of them.
For my top ten, I'm not sure of the order, but I really loved Matlock, Perry Mason (the original series), Perry Mason (the movies), Ironside; Diagnosis Murder; Hawaii 5-0; I Spy; Rockford; Marcus Welby; and Columbo. |
