Tony Danza Denies Never Calling Valerie Bertinelli for a Date: ‘She’s Full of Baloney

Bertinelli, 65, shared during the Tuesday, October 14, episode of The Drew Barrymore Show that she had a crush on Danza, 74, in the past. In the hope of striking up a romance, she once left her phone number in his car’s glove box.

“He never called me!” Bertinelli claimed as host Drew Barrymore chimed in, “They never do, by the way.”

Later in the episode, Barrymore, 50, confronted Danza about whether he intentionally ignored the note from Bertinelli.

Did you ever find Val’s phone number in your glove box?” Barrymore asked, to which Danza replied, “No, I did not. I think she’s full of baloney.”

Bertinelli didn’t deny Danza’s assertion and instead took it in stride by laughing along. The good-natured back-and-forth between the pair continued when Danza taught Bertinelli and Barrymore how to make his popular date sauce.<<<
