It looks like she made two appearances as Karen according to IMDb. Her Wikipedia page doesn't mention it. I'm surprised an Italian station aired it.

Her first sitcom guest appearance by airdate was on Diff'rent Strokes in "The Slumber Party" (March 12, 1980). It would be interesting to know when they taped her two Me and Maxx episodes.
