Nancy Travis worked with Ted Before. - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Did you guys know that Ted Danson and Nancy Travis were both in the movie "Three Men and a Little Lady"? I wonder if Ted suggested her to be on the show since they worked together before. Was anyone else aware of this?

I always thought maybe they brought her on because of that, but I don't know for sure. I remember one episode where they were looking in John's yearbook and it mentioned that he sang in a quartet and they did the song "Goodnight Sweetheart," which the three men sang in Three Men and a Baby. I think Bob and Jake sang it to razz him, but I can't remember for sure. Anyway, so I thought maybe they were following that up by having Nancy Travis come on the show.

yea they have worked together before(only twice before Becker) I think Ted did refer Nancy Travis for the show, from what I've heard hes really happy that their reunited and working together again. They'll soon be in the process of "3 Men and a Baby 3" due out in theaters late 2004.

There is no question Ted preferred Nancy over Terry. Perhaps that is why he didn't put up much of a fuss when the Producers fired Terry.
