the video file and the player is wrapped into the flash file - they have somehow put the actual video file into the flash datafile, I havent found a way to separate it.

I have pulled video from flash files (that I received from someone else) before and they looked great), but I don't know how to go about GETTING the Smith eps in flash format.

Many places on the 'net state the Smith episodes will be offered on iTunes in November, but I've yet to find them there. If they ever do show up on iTunes, I don't mind buying them & there may be a way Jie3 can convert them.

Yeah, with a bit of teamwork we may just get there.

I found the SMITH episodes on Amazon. I bought one episode & am currently transferring it to JIE3, to see if he can convert it.

Thanks to all who are trying, I am so pissed with this tv season, I think Fox in particular sucks. How can you expect a serialized show to do well ever when you break for a month for baseball world series, then change the show's timeslot twice?????????????????? Go figure. And then the OJ debacle, Fox gets what it deserves over that one.

On another UNAIRED note, did anyone ever get unaired eps of Jonny Zero (Another Friday night Fox debacle)

The unaired Smith episodes and the 10th episode of Vanished are available as torrents from a couple of the torrent sites. Can't speak to the quality of the Smith episodes, but they are extremely large (2Gb range). Vanished is much smaller, but seems to be nice quality. Not sure if there's an issue with the sound being out of synch or my laptop needs to be rebooted to clear the overclogged memory cache, but the episode is nicely complete. Apparently the uploader is planning to capture the others and upload those as well.

Hi Deb! I wasn't sure if it was kosher to talk about torrents on this site or not. I DID see some eps of Kidnapped & Vanished as torrents but not the full run. (Also found some VERY QUESTIONABLE links when searching for the 'Kidnapped' show...Ewwww....some freaky people out there.) So if you find them, would you PLEASE send me the link? I don't think I found Smith on torrents, so if you could, would you PLEASE email that to me? PLEASE? I REALLY HATE when they name these series' one, common, word. Reminds me of the hoops I had to go through to find "Ed" complete, for my husband. Give me an "NCIS" anyday...pretty much any hit you find for that one is referring to NCIS the tv show.

(Or else Francis the Talking Mule.)
