Question Down Under

I was waching the Down Under movie and tonight and was wondering if anyone can answer some questions for me. I never got to see Part 1, but I've seen all the rest and so I'm confused on some things, lol.

Ok, why they did they end of in Australia? I know that Natalie had to make that speech at the school, but why? Did their sister school contact her in Peekskill and ask her to come down to give a speech or were they just planning a trip and happened to stumble into Koolunga?

Why did Blair and Jo have the Opal with them? Did the police give it to them in the first place or did they just find it? Or maybe Blair stole it, lol. And why did they put it in that canister in Nat's backpack?

Who was that girl that Andy had a crush on like towards the end?

Any help would be much appreciated!

They went to Australia to go give the speech. They are sister schools and the 4 girls were picked to go over there and represent Eastland.

They met the jewell thief on the fairy from the airport tp their house. He convinced Jo and Blair that he was a cop and gave them the opal for safe keeping because he saw "the bad guys" on the dock and "they would try to take the evidence from him."

Jo hid the opal in Nat's bag. Nat left and took it with her not realizing it was there.

She was one of the students that met them at the airport. The two of them just hit it off.

LOL we must be psychic to watch the same movie the same night.

And thank you Dannie. You know it's really hard to enjoy a movie when you've missed the first 30 minutes of it, lol.
