TV David White (Larry) on One Step Beyond

I was watching the Best of One Step Beyond and was surprised to see David White (Larry Tate) on it. The episode was titled "Delusion" and he played some type of policeman. I thought he was pretty good in that role. Has anyone seen it?

Thanks for the picture Ann. I googled David White thinking he passed away right after Bewitched ended, but I was wrong. He died on Nov. 27, 1990. I could of swore he died in the early 70's, must of been thinking about someone else.

David White appeared on The Love Boat and What's Happening, this time playing advertising clients, in the late 70s. He also appeared on Ray Bradbury's episode "I Sing the Body Electric" on The Twilight Zone, meaning that each of the four main-credited actors, not including Dick Sargent, appeared on TZ, since Liz Montgomery, Dick York, and Agnes Moorehead made appearances also. A few of their episodes are available online at www.cbs.com under CBS Classics.

He was also the first actor to portray J. Jonah Jameson (in a live-action film)
in the 1977 Spider-Man TV pilot. (Ironically, another Bewitched
regular--Robert F. Simon (who was the first of two actors to play Darren's
father on the series) took over the role in the short-lived Spider-Man
series that followed.)

I didn't realize he'd played in so many different shows. I'd sure like to see him in the Twilight Zone episode.

I've never seen this show - I'll have to check it out sometime. David White also appeared in the Jack Lemmon classic film The Apartment (1960), and guested on an episode of Rhoda.

I also saw David White on an episode of Banacek - which also featured my honey, Gregory Sierra (). Sadly, they didn't have any scenes together.

Watch for David on an episode from the first season of My Three Sons (1961). It should be on the next DVD set (the first one is just half of Season 1).

I have the My Three Sons episode on VHS, but I haven't looked at it in years. IIRC, David plays the father of a teenage boy who is an only child. The teen visits the Douglas household and enjoys the rough-and-tumble atmosphere and family togetherness. David had a pretty good-sized role as the dad. He's seen in a nice suit & hat.

Don't miss the item on David (and his real-life son) in the following listing's "Notes:"
