Was Dolly Parton's album Backwoods Barbie her country comeback?
I heard a song by Dolly Parton called Better Get To Living and saw that it was from her album Backwoods Barbie and that album was supposed to be her country comeback after releasing bluegrass albums. Did Backwoods Barbie sell well for Dolly Parton when it first came out. The album is also the first album released on Dolly Parton's own Dolly Records label

I think Backwoods Barbie really showed Dolly Parton's country side well with a twist of fun lyrics and I had become a Dolly Parton fan after my dad had shown me her song Jolene on a classic country station and I got hooked and I had gotten Backwoods Barbie as well as Dolly's 1982 Greatest Hits album for my birthday many moons ago and I was impressed with this album? By the way what happened to Dolly Records as well? Did Dolly Parton sell it too?
