Default Princess really was a drag

She was a nag, snooty, a game player, and thought the world revolved around her. And those were her better qualities

If there was any doubt, she sure showed her true colors when the country cousin visited.

She also just had to win all those campus queen contests. That running race isn't important, I've gott go get my tiara by 5 pm!

I can't stand her! I agree with everything you wrote and than more. I can't even watch Father knows best because of her character.

There was a later episode where she was whining about not winning anything (besides the campus queen contest, she was a high school valedictorian, but that doesn't count) so she took up fencing. Then she couldn't win that because she had to babysit (poor baby!). But later she won another queen contest.

In an earlier episode, she lost a dance contest to another girl (again poor baby) and before that s class election (aww).

And she acted so superior over her siblings. I felt really sorry for Kitten being the little sister of a girl like that.

And it wasn't fun sibling squabbling like on Roseanne , she really acted like she thought she was so much better.

In one episode, she tried to get "father" to do some typing for her because she was "so busy." "Real easy, all written out." Like he's some kind of idiot.

Bud starts to say he doesn't like the way he's treat dear old dad, and she interrupts:"What's your problem, sonny?"

Miss Priss!

I do like the show, but she's so insufferable in some episodes, I just won't watch them.

Also, she is equally annoying in the early episodes, but the opposite: she acts like a stupid ditz. But disrespectful; not an exact quote, but something like: Oh father, you're so juvenile.

I fell asleep with FKB on Tubi playing all night. I would wake up occasionally and even through squinted sleep blurred eyes, I could see princess being mean to someone.

In one episode, Bud had helped a stranded motorist fix a tire and later that family wanted him to come for dinner. Princess was so embarrassed that Bud was greasy out in the front yard she wanted to disown him.

Even from a deep sleep I could hear her nagging.

That's another good example. Bud nailed her when he overheard her on the phone. That was great!

A comment to Bonnie: I will say, apart from Betty, FKB is a really good sitcom, and won multiple Emmys back in the day. You might want to give it a try and cheer on the episodes where she gets hers--how about that, dues? Other than Betty, you probably like the show, Tanker?

The biggest problem for me watching the show is the way they have Bud bash into things and act stupid. That ruins it for me more than anything else.
