LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - NBC has already made a full-season commitment to
first-year drama "American Dreams," and now it's extending that season.

The network has ordered three additional episodes of the 1960s-set show, bringing the
total for the season to 25. The standard order for most shows is 22 episodes per
season.

" 'American Dreams' has enhanced NBC's audience profile early on Sunday nights,
and we expect that growth and new-found popularity to increase," NBC Entertainment
president Jeff Zucker says.

"Dreams" is averaging about 12 million viewers at 8 p.m. ET Sundays, an
improvement over the network's performance at that time last season. At this time last
year, episodes of the game show "Weakest Link" were drawing only about 10.5
million viewers.

It's also doing significantly better among the 18- to 49-year-old viewers that NBC and
advertisers love. Along with "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" and "Boomtown," the
show has helped the network improve across the board on Sundays.

This news in very promising, and I am pretty confident about a second season now. It seems like the audience is building. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Yeah I heard this news before.I think its great and im so happy it's doing great the show.I had a feeling it would.But i think it's still too soon to Know if they'll have a season 2.But Im sure they will though.
